Larry Mechem has performed with his band in the central Indiana area for the past 50 years. Larry made his start as a working jazz musician playing trumpet and piano. Mechem remembers picking up a trumpet when he was about 10. It didn't take long before he knew that was what he wanted to play. Larry is known for his virtuosity on the trumpet. He also performed with the Guy Lombardo Band through the Midwest and on the Queen Elizabeth II cruise ship. The band consists of six of the best musicians in the area, and plays everything from Dixieland to Rock 'n' Roll.
